I have a keen interest in men and women who saw service in the British Army 1939-1945. I have researched, talked and written about various soldiers who saw war service in the Artists Rifles, the Yeomanry, the Middle East Commandos, Long Range Desert Group, Special Air Service, Special Allied Airborne Reconnaissance Force and GHQ Liaison Regiment (Phantom). I am always grateful to those veterans, relatives and supporters who have continued to assist my ongoing research by sharing original documents, anecdotes, photographs and private correspondence.
